Account Settings
The Account page lets you manage your personal account credentials and, if needed, permanently delete your account. You can access it by clicking your name at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Your email address is displayed at the top of the page for reference.
Features
Change Password
You can change your password directly from the Account page by confirming your current password. After a successful change, VibeView emails you a confirmation so you’ll know if a change was ever made without your knowledge.
Steps:
- Navigate to the Account page.
- In the Change your password card, enter your current password.
- Enter your new password and confirm it (minimum 8 characters).
- Click Change password. You’ll receive a notification email, and you’ll be signed out and returned to the sign-in page so you can confirm the change by logging in with your new password.
If your current password is incorrect, a “Current password is incorrect” notification is shown; if the new password and confirmation don’t match, an inline error is shown. In both cases you stay signed in and no change is made.
Reset a Forgotten Password
If you can’t sign in because you’ve forgotten your password, reset it from the sign-in page — no existing session required.
Steps:
- On the Sign in page, click Forgot password?.
- Enter your email address and submit. If an account exists for that address, VibeView sends a reset link. For privacy, the confirmation message is the same whether or not an account exists, so it never reveals which emails are registered.
- Open the link from your email — it is valid for 1 hour and can only be used once — and choose a new password.
- You’re returned to the sign-in page to log in with your new password.
If the link has expired or was already used, request a fresh one with Forgot password? again.
Delete Account
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Cleanup is automatic — there are no manual prerequisites.
What happens when you delete your account:
- If you are the only member of your organization, the organization is deleted with your account: any active subscription is canceled immediately (no further charges), all apps and uploaded builds are removed, API tokens and pending invites are revoked, and stored AI provider keys are erased. Billing records are retained as required for accounting.
- If your organization has other members, only your account and personal data are removed. The organization, its apps, tests, and other members are unaffected. Your past sessions remain in the organization’s history, anonymized.
- If you are the only admin of an organization that has other members, deletion is blocked until you make another member an admin in Organisation Settings > Team Management (
/settings/team). This is the only prerequisite.
Steps:
- Navigate to the Account page.
- In the Delete Account card, click Delete Account.
- A confirmation prompt will appear warning that the action cannot be undone.
- Click Confirm Delete. You will be logged out and redirected to the login page.
To cancel, click Cancel at the confirmation prompt.
