Session Defaults
Overview
Session Defaults define organization-wide settings that apply to every new simulator session.
Features
Session Timeout
Controls how long a session stays active before it is automatically terminated due to inactivity. Select one of the predefined durations:
- 30 sec
- 1 min
- 2 min
- 5 min
- 10 min
- 30 min (default)
- 1 h
- 2 h
When a session has no user interaction (taps, swipes, text input, etc.) for the configured duration, VibeView automatically stops it and releases the device. A warning toast appears in the sandbox 60 seconds before the timeout fires, giving you a chance to interact and keep the session alive.
Session Permissions
Controls what session users can do inside a running session.
- Install additional Android APKs — When enabled (the default), session users can sideload extra APKs onto Android devices during a session. Disable it to block sideloading; the app under test always installs regardless. Applies to Android sessions only.
Streaming Overage
Controls whether streaming past your plan’s included monthly minutes bills your usage credit at $0.06/min (Enabled, the default) or hard-stops sessions at the included minutes instead (Disabled). When disabled — or when usage credit runs out — sessions past the included minutes get a 60-second warning, then end automatically. See Usage Credits and Billing for the full mechanics.
