Mobile Test Results in Slack

Subscribe a Slack channel to the events you care about and VibeView posts a formatted message the moment they happen — a run finishing, a screen drifting from its baseline, a build failing to upload. Each message carries a colour-coded status and a button through to the run, so the channel tells you what happened and the app tells you why.

How it works

  1. 1. Add an Incoming Webhook URL

Create an Incoming Webhook in your Slack workspace, then go to Settings > Integrations in VibeView and add it under Slack with a channel name. Use "Send test message" to confirm it arrives before you subscribe anything to it.

  2. 2. Subscribe only the events you want in the channel

Pick from the event catalog rather than taking everything: run passed and failed, visual regression detected, app upload failed, quota threshold exceeded, and more. Subscriptions can be filtered by suite tag, so a noisy nightly suite does not drown the channel a release thread lives in.

  3. 3. Read the result without leaving Slack

Messages render as Slack blocks rather than raw JSON: a summary line, a coloured sidebar — green for passed, red for failed or a detected regression, amber for warnings — and a button through to the run. Screenshots are deliberately not embedded; the message links to the run instead, so test images never sit in the channel archive.
