To keep VibeView fast and safe for everyone, some kinds of third-party apps can’t be used on every plan.
Not allowed on any plan
Apps that use a device for something other than testing — for example cryptocurrency mining, or selling the device’s network connection (“bandwidth-sharing” apps) — are not allowed. See the Terms of Service. These apps may be blocked: uploads, cloud builds, installs and sessions started with one can be refused. If one is installed during a session, VibeView may end the session.
Restricted on the Free plan
On the Free plan, some third-party apps are restricted to prevent abuse — for example:
- social media, messaging and dating apps
- video streaming apps
- alternative app stores and tools that install apps
- torrent and file-sharing apps
- remote-access and remote-desktop apps
- virtual phone number and SMS-verification apps
Uploads, cloud builds, installs and sessions started with these apps can be refused. If one is installed during a session, VibeView may remove it and the session continues.
The restriction applies to any organization on the Free plan, including one whose paid plan has ended.
Paid plans lift this restriction. See Plans and billing.
Testing your own app
If your own app is restricted on the Free plan, upgrading to a paid plan lifts the restriction. Otherwise, contact support@vibeview.io.
