Team Management
Overview
Navigate to Settings > Team Management to reach this page. Once there, the page is titled “People”. It lets admins invite members by email, assign roles, manage pending invites, and remove users from the organisation.
Features
Member List
A table displaying all organisation members with columns for name/email (with color-coded avatar), role, and join date. The list supports:
- Role filter — Filter by All Members, Admin, Developer, or Viewer.
- Search — Free-text search that matches against email addresses.
Roles
Three roles are available when inviting or managing members:
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Can view and run uploaded apps |
| Developer | Upload, delete, and manage apps plus viewer access |
| Admin | Full access including billing and team management |
Admins can change an existing member’s role at any time from the role dropdown in the member list. An organization must always keep at least one Admin — the last Admin cannot be demoted or removed until another member is made Admin.
Pending Invites
Outstanding invitations are shown in a separate Pending Invites section below the member list. Each row shows the invited email address, the assigned role, and an expiry date. Admins can Revoke any pending invite; once revoked, the email link stops working immediately.
Re-inviting the same email address replaces the previous invite — this is the way to resend an invite or change the assigned role before the person accepts.
Remove Members
Admins can remove members from the organization. Removal takes effect immediately: the removed member’s running sessions are stopped and they are signed out. Apps and test data they created stay with the organization.
You cannot remove yourself — use Leave Organization on the Settings → General page instead. If you are the only member, leaving deletes the organization (you’ll be asked to confirm with the organization name and your password, and any subscription is cancelled immediately). If you are the only Admin of a team with other members, promote another Admin first.
How to Invite a Member
Steps:
- Navigate to Settings > Team Management.
- Click Invite Users (visible to admins only).
- Enter the recipient’s Email address.
- Select a Role by clicking the corresponding option (Viewer, Developer, or Admin). Each option includes a short description.
- Click Send Invite.
The invitee receives an email containing a link that is valid for 7 days.
How to Accept an Invite (Invitee)
The invite link is locked to the email address it was sent to. Opening the link, or registering / signing in with a different address, will be rejected.
Steps:
- Open the invitation email and click the link.
- If you already have a VibeView account with that email address, sign in. You will be added to the organisation automatically.
- If you do not yet have an account, sign up using the same email address the invite was sent to. You will be added to the organisation after registration.
Accepting an invite also verifies your email address automatically — no separate verification step is needed.
If the link has expired, ask an admin to re-invite your address (which issues a fresh 7-day link).
One Organisation per User
VibeView is single-organisation — each user can belong to only one organisation at a time. If the invitee already belongs to another VibeView organisation, they will see an error when attempting to accept. To switch organisations, they can leave their current one first (Settings -> General -> Leave Organization) and then open the invite link again — they keep the same account and sign-in. Note that apps, sessions, and test data stay with the organisation they were created in. Alternatively, invite a different email address.
How to Revoke a Pending Invite
Steps:
- In the Pending Invites section, locate the invite you want to cancel.
- Click Revoke on that row.
- The invite is cancelled immediately; the email link is no longer valid.
How to Remove a Member
Steps:
- In the member table, click the trash icon on the row of the member you want to remove.
- A confirmation dialog warns that the member will lose access to all resources.
- Click Remove to confirm.
Team Size and Plans
The Free and Dev plans include up to 3 team members and Starter up to 10, all counting pending invites. Professional has no member limit. If your organization moved to a plan with a smaller team limit than your current member count, existing members keep their access — the limit only applies when adding someone new.
